Thumbs up for Stefano Citron and Federico Piaggi whose début at Gianfranco Ferré has been a real success!

After a few years of ups and downs under the creative direction of the Aquilano-Rimondi duet, GFerré finally comes back on the scene of modern fashion. 

In my opinion this is actually what the maison needed: a creative direction capable of renewing, refreshing, giving a more up-to-date look without setting apart the "architectural background" that characterize it. 

As in a world where design in general moves forward to more simple, less garish, idea of beauty I think  they made a great job, mostly working on BALANCE.

That's the point of this collection, in my opinion. Low necklines and high slits, asymmetric cuts and drapes, gold and silver metallic glints alongside the timeless elegance of black and white ... everything looks like in the right place and never looks like "too-much"

Just primary colors and some vibrant shots for the night. Stunning "plumed effect" pieces showing off sensual glimpses of skin.

FENDI 'O party

So here I'm back from Milan... As you probably have noticed  I haven't been uploading my blog while in Milan... well actually the reason is one and only, I HAVE NEVER BEEN AT HOME!

 Like a fashionable clochard I spent every single minute meeting people and doing stuff! 

I'm a restless boy! 

I wasn't really worried about not uploading like a crazy fashion blogger (cause you know I like not to call me so) and that's why I know my most faithful followers followed me on facebook or twitter (which i used the most!)  

You know I feel like I want to live my life,experience everything, feeling carelessly free,  just don't want THE BLOG to be a weight off of my shoulders... for me it started as a pleasure and will end so!

So this is how it went... I got in Milan too fucking late on day #2 and SOOOO SAAAD I missed D&G and PRADA show. I was feeling pretty upset and stressed off cause of that actually but things started to get better when I got to FENDI 'O party which was taking place nearby my flat in Milan. 

I went there walking and started to meet friendly faces on my way (that already made me feel better of course)

The party was lots of fun, and after 15 minutes I was already freaking out!

I was so happy when going away from the bar I bumped into my friend Kyle Anderson from ELLE Magazine (NewYork)

It's been cool to share a talk with Delfina Delettrez Fendi and her friends :)) 

Bianca was looking cute and beautiful as always, and I love the way she always pose for the camera in such a natural and spontaneous attitude

Oh I'm ending with a fucking bad news :( I'm not going to Paris. Having such serious problems to fix here, and my family needs me.

ROME VFNO

We caught up with the girls for the cocktail party at Palazzo Fendi.

I personally think that Fendi sisters' events are among the best ones here in Rome.

Couldn't resist shooting the models! they really makes me want to take the camera and shoot as a passionate photographer lol 

Don't you think she looks a bit like Alexa Chung?  Maybe it's just my impression, but she reminds me of her...perhaps for her easy-going attitude... ok whatever... lol

Afterward my best friend Lilian who was modeling at Coragroppo store took a break and came to say hi.. 

The street were so crowded that we couldn't find a place where to eat something, and (somehow?!?!) we ended up at McDonald's. That was pretty fun, watching Chiara throwing her tray away in her Tribute YSL shoes and her plumy skirt... 

We got out of Mcdonalds and caught up with Lilian at Coragroppo store... 

When she was finally free, we got down the street for a walk...

It's been actually just a regular night out with friends... but it was fine!

I'm saving all my energy for Milan fw,

leaving on wednesday, can't wait! 

p.s I was truly impressed by the number of people who stopped me down the street telling me they follow my blog and wanted to take a picture with me! Hey there if you're reading this, please show me!! =)

When I knew that Luca was going to be the editor of our Dolce&Gabbana mens 12 film I was already sure he would have done a great job... and Gosh he did!

The video truly express all the fun we had, and how exciting it was to be there! I mean.. so cool to watch it now, it makes me impatient about the upcoming women's fw. Seriously can't wait to be in Milan!

Hopefully going to Paris too... =)

As I told you in the last post it's not being easy as usual to organize my "fashion journeys" but I mean fashion is what I do... :( I'm going to be so sad if I miss it.

Well let's not even think about it so far...

I'm back with...

Here I go people with a new post, 

I know I've been kind of "distant" lately, I haven't uploaded for a while...I'm so sorry for this :( 

The fact is that lately things aren't actually going the best, I'm dealing with some pretty sad and worrying situation... But, I mean, i can make it! :) I've always been a very positive person...I just do my best! 

Please don't worry too much, it's that I'm a little bit busier than usual and dealing with all the exciting projects I have in mind is getting more difficult


Fortunately I have my beloved friends who keep me up and doing! what would I do without them? 

By the way I'm posting the photos of Cecilia's birthday... the other night she turned 19! Yeah, she's so young and talented, I'm sure she's going to rule the world of fashion journalism one day!

It's been an intimate and lovely dinner, we truly had a wonderful time.
